Es war lange klar, es wurden zuletzt reihenweise Vorabtests publik, nun ist sie endlich da: Die zweite Ryzen-Generation, offiziell "Ryzen 2000 Serie" und inoffiziell "Ryzen II" genannt, auf Basis von "Pinnacle Ridge". Der Nachfolger und Refresh zur orginalen Ryzen 1000 Serie (Basis "Summit Ridge [1]") tritt derzeit erst einmal nur mit vier CPU-Modellen an, welche allerdings den Sechs- und Achtkern-Bereich im Consumer-Segment schon ziemlich perfekt besetzen – und dort natürlich in Konkurrenz zu Intels Coffee-Lake-Serie [2] gehen. Wo genau sich Ryzen 2000 in diesem Vergleich (sowie gegenüber Ryzen 1000) einordnet, wird derzeit durch die zu mehreren Dutzend erschienen Launchreviews ermittelt – wobei sich die dabei gewählten Titel schon reichlich vielversprechend anhören.
