Lohnt sich Upgrade von B450 auf B550?

Habe das Asus B450 TUF Gaming II mit Ryzen 3600 vom Sohnemann auf MSI B550 Gaming Plus mit Ryzen 5600X upgegradet. Rein theoretisch hätte das Asus gereicht, aber wenn Ich schon mal dabei bin spare Ich nicht an paar Euros. Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal. Zumal Ich von ASRock überhaupt nicht überzeugt bin, da hatte Ich bisher nur Probleme mit (bei zwei B450er Boards und einer RX 6700 XT).

Guten Tag. Ich habe ein - wie ich finde sehr verrücktes - Problemchen: die Power-LED an meinem Gehäuse funktioniert nur sporadisch! Sprich: mal ist sie an, mal geht sie aus, dann wieder an ... und selbst wenn mein PC im Standby ist, wo die Power-LED nur eigentlich blinken sollte, tut sie das manchmal ... und dann geht sie plötzlich aus und blinkt nicht mehr ... nur um irgendwann Stunden später vielleicht wieder mit blinken anzufangen ...

Mein System:

Prozessor (CPU): Intel i7 6700K @ stock
Mainboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII GENE (Intel Z170)
Netzteil: OCZ 500W
Gehäuse: Chieftec Mesh CI-02B-OP
Grafikkarte: Asus RTX 2060

Ich habe mal zum Test die HDD-LED des Cases an den Power-LED-Connector des Mainboards gesteckt ... da schien es für die kurze Zeit des Tests wie gewünscht zu funktionieren (leuchtete also durchgehend).

Die Kabel & Anschlüsse selbst scheinen auch keinen Wackelkontakt zu haben; zumindest hat wackeln & rütteln an keiner Stelle des Kabels oder der Anschlüsse etwas dafür oder dagegen bewirkt.

Hat jemand eine Idee zu dem Phänomen? Es ist zwar nicht wirklich schlimm., aber es wäre schon mal sehr interessant, woran es liegen könnte!

PC verreckt mit DRAM Fehler bei NEF-Durchsicht

Hallo,

nachdem ich das Problem in den letzten Wochen danke mehr Zeit ein wenig analysieren konnte [und eine tolle Lösung gefunden habe], möchte ich hiervon berichten:

Erstens habe ich die 4x G.SKILL Trident Z Neo DIMM zu 16GB (DDR4-3600) @3733/1866 gegen 4x Crucial Ballistix RGB White BL16G36C16U4WL.M8FB1 (DDR4-3600) @ 3666/1833 getauscht.

Dies brachte ein paar interessante Änderungen mit sich:

Ersten konnte ich damit den Gear Down endlich deaktivieren,
zweitens hatte damit nun insgesamt bessere Benchwerte quer durch die Bank und
drittens (am Auffälligsten) i9m Superpositionbenchmark hab es zu Beginn immer einen extremem Framedrop (ich glaube auf 1X fps) gehabt; Dieser war mit den neuen RAM komplett weg.

ABER: Die NEF-Abstürzte blieben, wenn auch weniger häufig und nicht so regelmäßig reproduzierbar.

Daher habe ich das PBO angepasst und bin jetzt bei

PBT 195
TDC 195
EDC 145

dies hat mir - gepaart mit etwas Spielerei beim Curveoptimizer nicht nur das NEF-Problem aus der Welt geschafft, sondern auch (bei 3666/1833) ein Prime/LinX-stable System mit MEHR Leistung beschert.
